1. Do a better job at managing my time.
As business owners/girl bosses/etc., we manage a lot of different things. Our to-do lists are endless and we’re constantly juggling our work-related tasks with our personal life and so much more. I don’t know about you, but it can get a little out of control. Sometimes things get kind of hectic and we pull all-nighters to get everything done or we just feel so overwhelmed that we have no idea where to start. It happens! But it doesn’t have to!
One of my goals for May is to do a better job at managing my time. I find that planning my week in advance is incredibly helpful for this. However, I need to do a better job of making sure I’m 100% productive during the day. I want to make sure I’m blocking off time for the most important tasks I need to do, as well as things like a proper lunch break, a workout, etc. This will help me stay focused and ensure I’m getting things done in an efficient time and can avoid those late nights (most of the time).
If you’re struggling with the same thing, check out my post all about . Also, try using apps that will help you stay organized or focused on the task at hand. I love to use Asana for managing all of my projects. The Pomodoro Technique is also great for making sure you stick to just one task and get things done.
2. Make some updates to The Haute Notes website.
The last time The Haute Notes got a revamp was at the beginning of this year. It’s about time I go through all of the main pages of my site and do some updates to make sure everything is looking its best and that the site is running great. If there’s anything you’d like to see added, please feel free to let me know! It’s been a goal to add a “start here” page for new visitors to my site for quite some time now, so hopefully that’s something I can accomplish this month.
3. Make time for self-care.
I feel like this goes hand-in-hand with my time management goal. When I’m planning my days, I want to make sure I’m giving myself ample time to do the things that take care of me. I want to exercise and meditate on a regular basis. I want to make time for reading all those books on my reading list. The truth is, our lives absolutely cannot be about the hustle 24/7. We need to take time for ourselves to just relax, recharge, and reignite our creativity.

Last Month’s Goals:
- Launch my new coaching packages. I actually made the decision to hold off on my coaching packages a little longer so I could focus on some other projects I needed to wrap up. I wanted to ensure I could give my full attention to the clients I take on and wouldn’t be worried about other things that also needed to get done at the same time. However, these new coaching packages will be launching this month!
- Complete the course I’ve been taking. I continued to go throw material for the business course I was taking in April and I actually still continue to go back to it. It’s been so beneficial for me and I know it will help me to better serve you.
- Get back into reading. Okay, I completely forgot about this goal. There are so many books on my to-read list and many of them are waiting on my bookshelf or already downloaded to my Kindle. I need to start reading them!
