This post is going up much later than I would have liked. It really should have gone up a week ago. But I spent the first day of May deciding my monthly goals. And then I was so wrapped up in other projects that I forgot all about making this post. When I did remember it still needed to be posted, I wasn’t feeling up to it.
So, here we are… May 7th and I’m just now sharing my goals with you. But hey, at least we’re getting it done!
1. Get Back on Track With Content
You know when a new idea comes to you and you abandon everything to focus on it? Yeah, that’s what happened to me last month. I ditched everything I intended to work on last month and let my goals fall by the wayside to follow what my gut was telling me to work on. Am I mad about it? Not at all.
But it did throw me off course when it comes to regular content creation. I didn’t post on my blog as much as I would have liked, nor did I upload many YouTube videos. As a result, I need to get back into the swing of things this month. That means plenty of new stuff is coming your way soon!
2. Pursue New Growth Opportunities
I’m taking the advice I share in my freshly updated course, Blogging Bombshell, and getting serious about GROWTH this month. That means I want to be making more effort to boost page views to my website and grow my audience online. The growth opportunities I pursue can be anything from guest posting, pitching myself for interviews, or even doing more live videos.
Each week, I’ll be challenging myself to pursue at least three new things. This is going to be my way to put myself out there and continue developing my own brand. And I really encourage all of you to do the same! If you could use some help in the growth department, I also recommend joining Blogging Bombshell.
3. Work on Passive Income Streams
Being that I’ve just updated one of my courses, I need to make sure I’m consistently generating revenue from it. That means updating my sales funnel, stepping up promotion, etc. After all, you gotta make that passive income work for you! Perhaps when I’m all done, I’ll share with you what has worked and what hasn’t in terms of bringing in more passive income.
4. Make Improvements to the Website
I’m going to be completely honest, I’m not a huge fan of how the site is looking right now. Everything needs to be refreshed, but this is one task I keep putting off. This month, I’m making it a priority to get it done and out of the way. Preferably before I start tackling any growth opportunities because you want to make sure your site gives off a great first impression to new visitors!
5. Follow the Tone It Up Bikini Series
And finally, I want to stick to the Tone It Up Bikini Series in the eight weeks ahead. The challenge started the day I’m writing this and so far, so good. I’ve stuck to my meal plan and got in my morning workout. I love having the accountability that these challenges provide. And with that said, I might share a few snippets here and there on my if you’re interested in checking it out.
